So, who am I, really? You can call me the mind (and sometimes the mischief) behind Stoic Wolf. I was born and raised in the colorful land of Oaxaca, Mexico—a traveler at heart, a proud dad of two wild little ones, a computer engineer, and (for good measure) a lover of law and politics with two master’s degrees. My life’s been full of twists: from business ventures to learning how to handle Type 2 diabetes, and being a handler to my amazing diabetes alert dog, Mishka. If there’s a trail to hike or a challenge to chase—especially if it ends on the Camino de Santiago—I’m probably there, map in hand and mind wide open.

But why Stoic Wolf, and why Stoicism at all? A few years ago, life hit harder than I ever expected. I found myself in a pretty dark place and, searching for a way out, stumbled upon the wisdom of Stoic philosophy—especially after reading "A Guide to the Good Life" by William B. Irvine. It brought me back to a sense of purpose and helped me find my footing again. Now I’m here sharing that toolkit with you, hoping it’ll help you carve your own resilient path.
